No Training whole-body humanoid motion-tracking policies for a Unitree G1 requires robotics and reinforcement-learning expertise, simulation infrastructure, and access to the physical robot for sim-to-real validation.
What it would actually take: A real version needs a GPU-parallel physics simulator (such as Isaac Lab or MuJoCo/MJX), a motion-capture retargeting pipeline that maps human motion data onto the G1's kinematics, and a large-scale RL training setup that is tuned to converge quickly. Sim-to-real transfer also needs domain randomization, state estimation, and low-level controller work on the actual hardware. This requires robotics and RL researchers plus a physical G1 for testing.
