Could you build this?

Partial The terminal UI and muxing are vibe-codeable, but the core depends on a streaming service's private API, authentication, and DRM license handling, which change frequently and raise legal issues.

What it would actually take: A working version would wrap existing open-source tooling for manifest parsing, muxing, and subtitle handling and add a terminal interface. The hard part is the service's authentication and DRM license acquisition, which needs ongoing reverse-engineering and maintenance and raises serious legal and terms-of-service questions.
