Description

Someone borrows your phone to make a call or look at a photo. AppLocker keeps everything else shut: your chats, gallery and banking ask for your PIN or pattern. It doesn't use Accessibility, the permission that can read your whole screen and that most app lockers ask for. No account, and your PIN never leaves the phone. If someone guesses wrong, Pro quietly takes their photo and shows the code they tried. Kids Mode leaves only the apps you allow. Free for 3 apps (with ads).

Could you build this?

No Locking apps securely on modern Android without using Accessibility services requires low-level Android OS knowledge, UsageStats privileges, and tricky system window overlay handling that Google strictly restricts.

What it would actually take: This requires native Android development in Kotlin using UsageStatsManager and Foreground Services combined with `SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW` to detect foreground package transitions reliably. The hard parts are achieving millisecond-level responsiveness before unauthorized screens flash, handling battery optimization/OEM-specific process killers (MIUI, Samsung), and bypassing strict Android sandboxing without Accessibility APIs. This requires specialized Android systems engineering and deep OS lifecycle expertise.
