Description

Package Inspector reads your lock file (npm/yarn/pnpm) directly — no node_modules needed — and shows every installed package with what needs attention: outdated versions, known CVEs (OSV.dev), deprecated packages, and missing peer dependencies. Click through the full dependency graph, copy the exact update command for your package manager, filter by status, and export as CSV/JSON for compliance reports. Built natively in SwiftUI — no Electron, ~5MB.

Could you build this?

Yes Parsing package lockfiles (JSON/YAML) and querying public vulnerability databases like OSV.dev via REST APIs is straightforward and can be easily implemented in an Electron, Tauri, or native SwiftUI app.
