Description
QuietHint listens to your call on your Mac and suggests a short reply while a question is still being asked. No bot joins the meeting and audio never leaves your device: speech is transcribed on the Mac, with your words kept apart from theirs. Hints land in a small overlay during the call, not in a summary afterwards. Works with any call app, uses your own Anthropic key, free to try on Apple silicon.

Could you build this?
Partial Creating a standard UI overlay is simple, but reliable low-latency on-device system audio capture, microphone dual-channel separation without a virtual audio driver conflict, and fast local streaming transcription require native macOS CoreAudio/Speech expertise.
What it would actually take: A production version requires native macOS development in Swift/Objective-C leveraging CoreAudio taps or `ScreenCaptureKit` for system audio capture alongside `AVAudioEngine` for microphone isolation. The audio streams must be normalized, fed concurrently into an on-device Whisper (e.g., whisper.cpp or CoreML) engine with real-time turn detection and voice activity detection (VAD), followed by low-latency streaming to an LLM API to display suggested hints in a non-intrusive floating overlay.

Nobody's really built a agent / copilot tool for Agriculture yet.
