Description
Stop guessing why you feel “off.” PulseCheck uses your iPhone camera to measure heart rate and HRV in 60 seconds, helping you understand stress and recovery. Every reading includes Confidence Level, so you know when results may be unreliable. Start free with no account or card. Your health data stays on your device, with no cloud storage. Track heart rate, HRV, stress, recovery, vitals, and lifestyle trends. PulseCheck is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent conditions.

Could you build this?
Partial Building a mobile UI is simple, but photoplethysmography (PPG) using a camera sensor requires precise signal processing algorithms to filter noise, detect pulse peaks, and calculate accurate HRV metrics.
What it would actually take: Requires Swift/iOS AVFoundation to capture high-framerate, uncompressed camera frames with the torch active. Hard parts involve real-time computer vision and digital signal processing (bandpass filtering, FFT/wavelet analysis for rPPG, and artifact rejection) to extract inter-beat intervals (IBI) and calculate SDNN/RMSSD confidence scores accurately under varying skin tones and hand movement.
