Description
Napkinbook is a smart canvas for collaboration, sharing, and discovering insights.I think of it as a more computational version of Excalidraw or Miro: a flexible canvas where you can think, build, present, and collaborate without constantly moving between different tools.Since my first Show HN, I’ve added:* Much better mobile support * AI-assisted brainstorming * Presentation decks with animations * Shareable reports * Live collaboration * Actual Git historyThe goal is to make the canvas itself the workspace, rather than treating whiteboarding, presenting, reporting, and version history as separate products.I’d love feedback, especially on the interaction model and where this feels meaningfully different from existing canvas tools.

Could you build this?
Partial Building an infinite canvas with live math, Monte Carlo simulations, and probabilistic forecasting requires significant mathematical and state synchronization architecture beyond standard vibe coding.
What it would actually take: The application relies on an infinite canvas rendering engine (e.g., HTML5 Canvas/WebGL via PixiJS or tldraw) paired with a reactive computation graph (similar to spreadsheets or observable notebooks) and client-side Monte Carlo probabilistic simulation kernels (WebAssembly or optimized JS). It also requires collaborative CRDT state management (Yjs/Automerge) and connectors for SQL/FRED data imports.

Same idea, different domain
Nobody's really built a content generation tool for Government yet.
