Description

I am a superforecaster and napkinbook is a tool I have used to do forecasts and to organize my thoughts and to plan for the future. I built this originally so I could make videos on prediction markets and break down my ideas so I wanted to share it with all of you :)

Could you build this?

Partial A collaborative infinite canvas with basic diagrams is vibe-codeable, but integrating a reactive computation engine, live DuckDB/Wasm SQL queries, Monte Carlo simulations, and probabilistic forecasting models requires solid statistical and data systems architecture.

What it would actually take: The client uses SvelteKit and HTML5 Canvas or SVG (such as PixiJS or custom WebGL) with CRDTs (Yjs) backed by Supabase and a WebSocket sync server. The computation core needs an embedded analytical engine (like DuckDB-Wasm) running user SQL queries locally, integrated into an execution graph that evaluates statistical distributions, Latin hypercube sampling for Monte Carlo runs, and reactive fan-chart visualizations in real time.
