Description
I recently drove through the beautiful lands of British Columbia. I've called this place home for a better part of 20 years, and I realized that I know very little outside the little bubble that I live in.So I created this interactive map/game where you play as the Sasquatch, roaming the land and discovering hidden gems, towns, and other wildlife. You can read up on the town's story, view pictures to get a sense of what they look like, and stuff like that.I wanted to put this out there for those who are curious about our lovely province and enjoy roaming around.I am a software developer, but this app is vibe-coded. I do believe that this kind of usage of AI is fantastic--to better understand the world around us through immersive simulation.Let me know what you guys think!

Could you build this?
Partial A basic 3D exploration demo with Three.js can be generated with AI, but streaming real geographic heightmaps, optimizing LOD terrain rendering, and handling large-scale province terrain in the browser requires specialized graphics optimization.
What it would actually take: Built with Three.js or custom WebGL/WebGPU, terrain heightmaps (DEM data) converted to chunked binary formats, and a quadtree/LOD terrain chunk manager. The complex parts are memory management across mobile/desktop browsers (avoiding WebGL context losses), efficient procedural foliage/asset placement, and geodetic coordinate mapping to 3D world space.
