Notes by Halo is a minimal Markdown notes app for Windows that keeps your notes as plainmd files in a folder you control. Version 1.1.0 adds keyboard-first navigation, a cross-note task overview (press Space), an interactive tour, and a built-in MCP server, so assistants like Claude Desktop and Cursor can work with your notes locally. Free on the Microsoft Store, in English and Japanese.
