Could you build this?

Partial A type-erased callable wrapper crate is a small Rust library that an AI assistant can draft. Getting it sound and performant, especially if it uses unsafe code or has tricky lifetime and ABI guarantees, requires real Rust expertise and careful review.

What it would actually take: Implement it as a Rust crate using trait objects, generics, or a small vtable-based design, with a test suite and Miri for undefined-behavior checks. The hard part is soundness: making the unsafe code correct across lifetimes, Send/Sync bounds, and drop semantics. That needs an experienced Rust engineer to review the design.
