Partial An RSS reader with OPML, FreshRSS sync, and offline reading is easy to vibe-code, but ranking stories by cross-web coverage requires ingesting and clustering many articles at scale.

What it would actually take: The reader layer is standard (feed parsing, sync, local storage on iOS/macOS). The hard part is a story-clustering pipeline: fetch large numbers of feeds, deduplicate and group near-identical articles in near real time, and count how many sources cover each cluster. That needs embedding or fuzzy-matching infrastructure and a crawl that is broad enough to be useful, which means a backend team and ongoing infrastructure costs.
