EasyMouse is a Mac menu bar app that keeps separate pointer speed, acceleration, scroll direction and button settings for each mouse and trackpad. Pick up a different mouse and it applies that device's settings automatically, so you set each one up once. It also maps side buttons to Back/Forward or shortcuts, supports per-app rules, and includes MouseLock to keep the cursor on one screen while gaming.

Partial The menu bar UI is simple, but per-device pointer speed, acceleration, and button remapping on macOS require low-level HID and event-tap work that may involve undocumented system behavior.
What it would actually take: Use Swift with IOKit/IOHIDManager to identify devices by vendor and product ID, and CGEventTap to remap buttons and scroll direction per device. Pointer acceleration per device is the hard part, since macOS applies it globally and may need private APIs or a workaround. Building it reliably requires macOS systems and HID internals expertise and testing across many mice and macOS versions.
