What it would actually take: Build it as a client-side encrypted store, using a vetted library such as libsodium or the Web Crypto API for key derivation (Argon2id or PBKDF2) and AES-GCM, with sync via a backend that only sees ciphertext. The hard part is a sound key-management and recovery design plus a third-party security audit before anyone trusts it with real credentials.
