Partial A macOS app that turns a Mi Band into a mouse requires reverse-engineering the band's Bluetooth sensor protocol and processing motion data into stable cursor movement.

What it would actually take: Use Swift with CoreBluetooth to connect to the band, and CGEvent to move the cursor and send clicks. The hard parts are decoding Xiaomi's proprietary BLE protocol for accelerometer and gyro data, since it is undocumented, and turning noisy IMU data into smooth, drift-free pointer control with gesture recognition. That takes reverse-engineering skill and sensor-fusion or signal-processing know-how.
