Nothing to save, no layouts to name, nothing to click. Many Displays quietly remembers where every window lives (display, position, size) and puts everything back on its own when your Mac wakes, unlocks or reconnects its monitors. Grant Accessibility once and forget it's there. Built for identical monitors that macOS keeps swapping: it tells them apart, even by the port they're plugged into. No cloud, no account. $19 one-time, 14-day free trial.

Partial The UI and settings are simple, but the core is a native macOS app that must reliably identify displays and restore window positions through Accessibility APIs, which has many edge cases.
What it would actually take: The stack is a Swift/AppKit menu bar app using the macOS Accessibility APIs (AXUIElement) and CGDisplay notifications for sleep, wake, unlock, and monitor hot-plug events. The hard part is stable identification of monitors across reconnects and robustly matching windows to saved positions when apps launch late or behave unusually. That requires macOS systems knowledge, code signing and notarization, and extensive testing across hardware setups.
