Could you build this?

Partial A correct DEFLATE, zlib, and gzip decoder in Rust can be vibe-coded from the RFC specs. Making it fast, zero-copy, and no-std with competitive throughput needs performance engineering that an assistant alone won't reliably deliver.

What it would actually take: A correct version is a Rust implementation of RFC 1950/1951/1952 with Huffman table decoding and a sliding-window back-reference engine, and it can be tested against zlib and flate2 with fuzzing. The hard part is competitive speed, which needs careful bit-buffer design, branch-free table lookups, and possibly SIMD. Someone with compression-algorithm and low-level optimization experience is needed to benchmark and tune it.
