movieedit is a free AI video editor that runs entirely on your own Windows PC. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud: transcription, translation and speech synthesis all run locally. Remove silences automatically or edit by deleting lines from the transcript, turn long videos into 9:16 shorts with face tracking and subtitles, dub into other languages while keeping the background music, and restore old footage with AI upscaling.
