Read the full description

Sill shows any window from your Mac, or its whole desktop, on your iPhone or iPad, and lets you use it with touch, a keyboard, an on-screen trackpad or Apple Pencil. Unlike remote desktop apps that squeeze a whole screen into a viewport, Sill streams one window at a time, resized to fit your device, with the Mac's windows, apps and menus as native controls on the device. Both parts are free: the Sill app for iPhone and iPad, and Sill for Mac.

Could you build this?

No Real-time streaming and remote control of individual native macOS windows to iOS requires deep macOS ScreenCaptureKit expertise, hardware video encoding, and low-latency networking protocols.

What it would actually take: Building this requires a macOS companion app written in Swift/Objective-C using ScreenCaptureKit for per-window capture and VideoToolbox for hardware-accelerated H.264/HEVC encoding. The transport layer needs low-latency WebRTC or custom UDP streaming, matched with an iOS client decoding via Metal/AVFoundation and synthesizing synthetic HID events (accessibility APIs, CGEvent) on the Mac. Achieving smooth 60fps streaming with touch, Apple Pencil, and low latency requires deep low-level Apple systems programming.
