Description

iMCBridge lets you securely view and control your own Mac or Windows PC from an iPhone—at home or away. Pair once by QR on the same Wi-Fi, then reconnect over Wi-Fi, 4G, or 5G. Use mouse controls, scrolling, keyboard input, pinch-to-zoom, and quick switching between computers. Direct P2P is preferred, with encrypted relay only when needed. Streaming stops in the background and Face ID protects reconnection.

Could you build this?

No Building a secure, low-latency remote desktop server and mobile client requires deep OS-level systems engineering for screen capture, hardware video encoding, virtual input injection, and P2P NAT traversal.

What it would actually take: A viable build requires native host agents written in C++/Rust utilizing OS display APIs (DXGI Desktop Duplication on Windows, ScreenCaptureKit on macOS) coupled with hardware-accelerated video encoders (NVENC, VideoToolbox) and OS-level accessibility/driver hooks for mouse/keyboard emulation. The networking stack necessitates custom WebRTC or ICE/STUN/TURN implementations with DTLS-SRTP encryption to guarantee low latency over mobile networks, paired with a custom low-latency iOS video decoder.
