Could you build this?
Partial The settings UI and OBS integration are straightforward, but the core is low-level: streaming camera frames and audio over USB from iOS and exposing them to macOS as a virtual camera. That needs Apple media and driver-level knowledge that vibe coding alone won't reliably produce.
What it would actually take: Build an iOS app using AVFoundation for capture and a USB transport via usbmux/peertalk-style channels, with H.264/HEVC encoding and synced audio. On macOS, a CoreMediaIO camera extension or virtual camera (similar to OBS's own virtual cam) plus a control UI. The hard parts are reliable low-latency USB transport, correct A/V sync, and signing/notarizing a system extension, which calls for an experienced Apple platform engineer.
