Hi HN,I'm a big fan of the liquid-dsp C library and thought it'd be fun to bring it over to Rust. I'm calling this library Yagi DSP. The browser demo I've linked here is just a very basic example to show how different modems work in the presence of noise, but it really does use yagi via wasm-bindgen.liquid-dsp has more than 1300 tests and yagi now has ported and passes more than 95% of them. I've just finished a major refactoring of the library with lots of API churn now behind me so I thought it'd be the perfect time to show off a little demo here.I've still got a lot more I'm hoping to do with it including a streaming graph/dataflow library that I'm building on top of yagi. My goal with that is to create something that's easily embeddable in applications. Thanks for reading and enjoy the demo!

Could you build this?
No Porting liquid-dsp to Rust and implementing digital signal processing modulation algorithms requires specialized mathematical and communications engineering expertise.
What it would actually take: To build this, a developer needs deep expertise in digital signal processing (DSP), modulation schemes (QAM, PSK, FSK), and filter design. The stack involves pure Rust implementing complex float operations, FFT, and modem algorithms compiled to WebAssembly via wasm-bindgen. Canvas or WebGL is used for real-time constellation diagrams and eye patterns.
