Could you build this?

Yes This is a data analysis and visualization project querying publicly available Hacker News datasets (via the official API or Google BigQuery public datasets) and plotting the results.

Discussion

4 comments analyzed.

Concerns raised: New public GitHub repositories haven't increased much despite AI hype, Unclear if AI adoption is real growth or just reallocation of existing projects, Domain registrations flat, suggesting limited new venture creation

Feature requests: Update analysis post-Opus 4.5 and late 2025 model releases, Track proportion of AI submissions over time on HN
