Description

Hey PH, I built Crossagent in 3 days because I was tired of being my own copy-paste middleware between AI tabs. The core idea: type @claude inside ChatGPT, and Claude responds in a sidebar using your own account. No API key. No proxy. Completely native. Type @all, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Mistral, and Copilot all answer at once, then Claude synthesises. Would love brutal feedback on what's broken, what's missing, and what would make you actually use this daily.

Could you build this?

Partial A basic browser extension injecting a sidebar is approachable, but natively session-jacking or injecting interactions across authenticated third-party web apps (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) without official APIs is brittle and technically complex due to DOM changes, CSP, and auth state management.

What it would actually take: The architecture relies on a Chrome Extension (Manifest V3) running content scripts that inject custom UI overlays and observe input events. To communicate without API keys, it must parse authenticated web sessions via background service workers, bypass CORS/CSP boundaries, and programmatically simulate chat requests against internal web client endpoints while constantly adapting to anti-bot measures and frequent frontend DOM changes.
