Description

Hi HN,I've written the developer tool I've wanted for some time: a process manager and log multiplexer in one. I think of it as a combination of overmind and lnav, both great tools in and of themselves, but focussed on my needs as a developer.I wrote more about it here: https://www.aha.io/engineering/articles/over-it-allHope someone else finds it useful too.

Could you build this?

Partial Running multiple subprocesses from a Procfile is straightforward, but building a high-throughput TUI log multiplexer with search and filter capabilities requires careful systems and terminal programming.

What it would actually take: Built typically in Go or Rust with libraries like Bubbletea or Ratatui, interacting directly with Unix pty/tty streams and POSIX process groups. The difficult aspects include handling backpressure across high-throughput stdout/stderr streams, non-blocking log parsing, and managing interactive subprocess lifecycle cleanly across OS signals.
