Description
FeelMyMac brings haptic textures to cursor movement and scrolling on Mac trackpads. Instead of feeling feedback only when you click, you can actually feel simulated surfaces as you move your cursor, with different materials and textures to choose from. You can enable haptics separately for cursor customize intensity, and add optional sound effects. FeelMyMac also includes keyboard sounds for an extra layer of feedback. How it works? Easy it's Taptic Engine just like an iPhone would!

Could you build this?
Partial Accessing private Apple Multitouch framework and Force Touch haptic actuator APIs (NSHapticFeedbackManager / IOHID) to simulate dynamic surface textures requires reverse-engineering undocumented macOS internal subsystems.
What it would actually take: The app requires a native Swift/Objective-C macOS application running an event tap or low-level HID monitor to intercept trackpad touch-coordinate streams. It must reverse-engineer private Apple Multitouch and Force Touch SPIs (`MTDeviceRef`, undocumented actuation patterns) to trigger micro-haptic clicks in real time with sub-10ms latency synchronized to cursor movement, demanding deep macOS driver and internals expertise.
