Description

MediaSlim brings photo and video cleanup into one Android app. Compress or resize photos, make quick edits, add filters, and trim clips before saving a separate copy. You can also take photos, record video, or record your screen in the app, then move straight into editing. Preview the result while keeping your originals untouched. Standard processing runs on your device. I made MediaSlim to make everyday media cleanup easier, and I’d love to hear what you think.

Could you build this?

Yes Android provides native APIs (MediaRecorder, MediaCodec, CameraX, and Canvas/Bitmap tools) as well as off-the-shelf wrappers like FFmpeg-kit that AI assistants can easily stitch together for media editing and compression.
