Description

Runic is an open-source macOS menu bar app for seeing AI usage across the providers you enable. Check quota and reset windows, cost estimates, local token history, model breakdowns, and provider status in one place. It can read provider APIs, local coding-tool logs and telemetry where available, with CSV/JSON exports and a CLI. Runic labels estimates and missing data rather than faking precision. Usage stays on your Mac by default. See the GitHub README for install steps and detailed docs.

Could you build this?

Yes It is a native macOS menu bar app (e.g., Swift or Tauri) that polls various LLM provider APIs and parses local log files for token usage metrics.
