Description

nocookiestoday quietly declines cookie pop-ups for you. It finds the actual Reject or Necessary Only option on a banner and clicks it, instead of just hiding the pop-up or ignoring it. If it isn't confident, it does nothing rather than risk accepting cookies by mistake. It never clicks Accept as a fallback. No account, no analytics, no tracking. Settings and activity stay on your device. Install it once, then forget it exists.

Could you build this?

Partial The browser extension shell is straightforward, but maintaining an engine that accurately detects and clicks non-standard 'Reject' buttons across millions of evolving cookie consent banners without breaking requires ongoing heuristic engineering.

What it would actually take: Built as a WebExtension with content scripts analyzing the DOM using a mix of rules, CSS selectors, mutation observers, and a lightweight NLP classifier to locate reject/necessary options across CMPs (OneTrust, Cookiebot, etc.). The challenge is handling diverse shadow DOMs, obfuscated class names, dynamic modals, and constant updates to consent management platforms without breaking site usability.
