Description
Exception-only error tracking you run yourself. Keep official Sentry SDKs; point the DSN at your box. One Rust binary plus PostgreSQL 16. Two containers, no Redis, no Kafka. Grouped issues, breadcrumbs, releases, alerts, webhooks. Keyboard triage (j/k, e resolve, i ignore). Spike valve under loops: the counter still increments, duplicate bodies drop. No APM, replay, profiling, or log ingest. JS/TS sourcemaps. Other languages group on SDK frames. Apache 2.0. docker compose up.

Could you build this?
Partial While the core concept is an ingestion server and dashboard, building a reliable, high-throughput Sentry-compatible ingest endpoint in Rust with complex exception grouping, stack trace de-minification, and rate-limiting is non-trivial.
What it would actually take: The architecture requires a Rust HTTP service (e.g. Axum/Actix) parsing Sentry envelope formats, PostgreSQL for storage, and client-side symbolication/sourcemap demangling. The hardest parts are handling high-volume telemetry ingestion spikes without data loss, efficient fingerprinting/grouping algorithms for stack traces, and full Sentry API compatibility. Requires systems programming knowledge and expertise in observability pipelines.

Same idea, different domain
Nobody's really built a observability & eval tool for Media & entertainment yet.
