Description

In an online interview, a candidate's screen share may leave out app windows. Ask them to run Camoscope on their Mac, with consent, and share the results. It shows which apps own windows worth checking, so you have something concrete to ask about. In our macOS test, it flagged a Cluely overlay. It cannot see what reaches your call or prove cheating; check the actual share together.

Could you build this?

No Detecting hidden or non-shared overlays on macOS requires low-level native macOS system APIs, CoreGraphics window lists, and bypassing Apple's strict Screen Recording permission sandboxes.

What it would actually take: The app requires native Swift/Objective-C code utilizing macOS CoreGraphics APIs (`CGWindowListCopyWindowInfo`) and Accessibility APIs to enumerate all active onscreen and offscreen window layers and examine owning PIDs. It requires deep knowledge of macOS security permissions, window server architectures, and heuristics to distinguish background system processes from interview cheating companion tools like Cluely.
