Description

Considering all the supply chain dependencies lately I've been building a collection of C89 libraries to make zero dependency stuff. For fun I have also been programming it in latin! Still very much in progress.

Could you build this?

No Handcrafting zero-dependency C89 libraries with Latin identifiers requires specialized low-level systems programming expertise, strict compliance with the C89 standard, and deep Latin linguistic knowledge.

What it would actually take: Developing strict ANSI C (C89) libraries without standard library bloat requires implementing custom memory allocators, data structures, and POSIX/Win32 system call wrappers from scratch. It requires low-level systems C expertise, cross-platform compilation toolchain knowledge, and classical Latin translation skills.

Competitors mentioned: Aquinas OS, Eskil Steenberg's C89 libraries

Concerns raised: Claude has rough edges with non-Latin characters, Unclear practical benefit vs. autopilot reading reduction, Project described as 'AI slop' and 'fundamentally insane', Concerns about SABAW1.md and SABAW2.md files

Feature requests: Have Claude read show_bible.md during onboarding
