Description
DualCapture brings two perspectives into one iPhone camera. Record front and back at once, or capture portrait and landscape together. Shoot videos, photos, and Live Photos; choose picture-in-picture or split-screen layouts; and save separate front/back clips. A floating teleprompter, live color palettes, film-inspired looks with adjustable grain, and pro controls help shape the shot before you press record. Its clean interface uses Liquid Glass styling on supported iOS versions.

Could you build this?
Partial Recording multi-camera streams simultaneously on iOS requires specialized knowledge of AVFoundation's AVCaptureMultiCamSession, hardware pipeline constraints, real-time metal/compositing shaders, and memory-efficient video encoding.
What it would actually take: The app requires native Swift/Objective-C development using AVFoundation's AVCaptureMultiCamSession to configure and synchronize concurrent front and back camera inputs. A real-time pipeline using Metal or Core Image handles compositing, Picture-in-Picture layout rendering, and color grading filters before piping to AVAssetWriter for hardware-accelerated H.264/HEVC encoding. The hard part is managing hardware thermal limits, device-specific multi-cam session matrix compatibility, and audio-video clock drift across streams.
