Could you build this?
Partial The web UI is easy, but continuous background screen recording, native macOS accessibility/permission management, local OCR, and on-device VLM/LLM summarization require native systems programming expertise.
What it would actually take: A native macOS app built with Swift/Objective-C is necessary to tap into ScreenCaptureKit, Accessibility APIs, and Apple Silicon hardware acceleration. Captured frames must be deduplicated, passed through local OCR (Vision framework) or embedded local models (Whisper, Apple MLX / Llama.cpp), and safely indexed in a local SQLite/vector store without draining battery or violating system privacy.
