Description

Run npx fallow audit in any TypeScript or JavaScript repository. Fallow builds a deterministic dependency graph, then reports unused code, cycles, duplicated logic, complexity, and architecture drift. Its changed-code gate blocks only findings introduced by the current change, so existing debt does not stop adoption. Use the same evidence locally, in CI, editors, and MCP workflows. The analyzer is free and MIT licensed; optional Fallow Runtime adds production execution evidence.

Could you build this?

No Building a deterministic static analysis tool that computes cross-file dependency graphs, cycle detection, duplication, and delta-based architectural gates requires advanced compiler engineering and static analysis expertise.

What it would actually take: The core CLI needs a high-performance engine (written in Rust or C++) utilizing robust TypeScript/JS parsers (like SWC or Biome) to traverse import/export graphs and resolve complex module resolutions (monorepos, tsconfig paths). Implementing exact dead-code identification, cyclomatic complexity algorithms, duplicate token matching, and git-diff delta analysis without false positives requires deep knowledge of formal language theory and program analysis.
