Description

Kodro is an offline robot studio for UK Computing, KS1 to KS4. Pupils design a rover, write real code, and run it through simulated worlds, getting pass/fail evidence with telemetry on every run. NEW: Genesis races up to 4 controllers through seeded contracts and proves the winner. Built for reasoning agents: Astra can drive the full loop over MCP, reading code, running it, grading it, iterating, while Kodro holds verdicts no model can fake. Honest kinematic sim, MIT open source.

Could you build this?

Partial Building an educational coding web UI is straightforward, but developing a deterministic 3D rover physics simulator with real-time telemetry, contract verification, and competitive multi-agent simulation demands sophisticated physics modeling.

What it would actually take: The frontend would run in a browser or Electron desktop environment using Three.js/Rapier or a custom deterministic WASM-based physics engine, sandboxed code execution (e.g., QuickJS or Pyodide), and telemetry streaming. The difficult challenges are maintaining deterministic lockstep physics simulation across headless runs for automated grading/racing, and building intuitive AST/code evaluation tools for young learners. This requires expertise in game engine architecture, browser sandbox security, and computer science pedagogy.
