Description

Neomodette — a geometric sans built from first principles, with real multi-script depth. It's a geometric sans from Cast Iron Type, designed by David Berube. The tooling behind it is custom too: Cast Iron Type has an inhouse Lisp based font modelling pipeline. Neomodette ships with Latin-1, Latin-1 Supplement, and most of Latin Extended-B complete, plus beta support for Cyrillic, Armenian, and Greek. Specialty punctuation: interrobang, asterism, percontation point, and much more.

Could you build this?

No Neomodette is a custom digital typeface developed through deep typographical design expertise and a specialized Lisp-based algorithmic font modeling engine.

What it would actually take: Building a production-ready variable font family with multi-script support (Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Armenian) requires expert font design, vector kerning/hinting, and OpenType table generation. The proprietary Lisp pipeline requires specialized knowledge in parametric computational geometry and bezier curve modeling to export valid TTF/OTF/WOFF2 binary formats via fontTools or HarfBuzz.
