Description
TrimCI turns your CI/CD pipeline data into a dollar figure and a ranked list of fixes. It works with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI, including GitLab behind a VPN via an open-source agent. Access is read-only and pipeline-only: no repository scope, no source code, no CI YAML. We keep only run metadata and the last 8,000 characters of failed-job logs, deleted after 30 days. Recommendations come from a language model on our own EU servers, never an external AI provider. 14-day free trial.

Could you build this?
Partial Connecting to GitHub/GitLab webhook APIs is straightforward, but building on-prem parsing agents, calculating accurate developer downtime dollar costs, and clustering log failure signatures without third-party LLMs requires non-trivial backend data infrastructure.
What it would actually take: The system requires an on-premise lightweight log ingestion daemon, a data pipeline to stream and strip log data, a self-hosted fine-tuned open-weight LLM (e.g. vLLM with Llama 3) for privacy-compliant failure root-cause analysis, and an aggregation engine computing cost heuristics. The hard part is reliable trace log deduplication, error extraction across varying build tools, and running local models within strict enterprise privacy boundaries.
