Description

Rent a storage unit, or own a garage full of boxes? Basic Bins is the inventory you will actually keep. Photograph each thing as it goes into the box and the app names it. Print a QR label from your own printer, scan it months later, and see everything inside without opening the box. Take something out and it shows as out with your name on it. Print an inventory with replacement values for insurance or a move. No account: your data stays in your iCloud. Free for one location and fifty items.

Could you build this?

Yes The workflow relies on standard smartphone camera capture, multimodal vision LLMs (e.g., GPT-4o-mini) to label items, and generating printable QR codes linking to box inventory pages.
