Description

Aethra AI is building a runtime defence and governance platform for AI agents - an enforcement layer that tracks data provenance and blocks untrusted instructions before they can drive agent actions. Our open-source SDK (Apache 2.0, Python/Node) is on GitHub, with an optional hosted control plane for approvals and audit. On AgentDojo, Aethra blocked 35/35 injection goals, 0 false positives (full LLM-backed evaluation in progress).

Could you build this?

Partial A basic proxy SDK that wraps agent function calls with regex or lightweight prompt checks can be vibe-coded, but robust runtime data provenance tracking and zero-trust taint analysis require sophisticated security engineering.

What it would actually take: A true runtime defense platform requires implementing fine-grained dynamic taint analysis and data-flow tracking across heterogeneous LLM prompts, embeddings, and tool outputs. The technical stack involves an eBPF or AST-level instrumentation engine in Python/Node to intercept execution contexts, combined with formal grammar parsers, cryptographic data provenance tokens, and sub-millisecond policy enforcement engines written in Rust/C++.
