MailViewed shows read receipts inside Gmail: grey ticks when your email sends, green the moment a real person reads it, with names and times on hover. Unlimited and free. Nothing is added to your emails, robot opens from Apple's privacy proxy and corporate scanners are filtered out, and the only Gmail permission it asks for is send, so it can't read your inbox.
