Making sure you can get everything our of your key sessions and recovery optimal 3) Race aware fueling plans. Making sure your fueling plan is efficient and planned specifically for your race course with our 1k+ race course library. We've been aiming for a slow takeoff, so we still had room to tweak the app together with some top athletes in their sport. In the meantime 30+ athletes completed a race with Mavr. All reporting a 20-30% performance gain during their training block and around an 8-15% gain during their race.Happy to chat more about nutrition and endurance sports! Could you build this?

No Building an endurance sports nutrition app focused on gut training and race fueling requires deep, specialized sports science and clinical nutrition expertise to avoid athlete illness or severe GI distress.

What it would actually take: The system would require a mobile client (Swift/Flutter) integrated with health APIs (Apple HealthKit, Garmin Health) to ingest workout duration, intensity, and heart rate zones. The hard part is the underlying physiological calculation engine that plans carbohydrate intake (e.g., scaling from 60g/hr to 90-120g/hr) and gut-adaptation protocols tailored to individual gastrointestinal tolerance. This requires verified sports dietetics datasets and clinical nutrition domain experts to design safe, evidence-based fueling algorithms.

Discussion

2 comments analyzed.

Concerns raised: % gain is self-reported with selection bias from survey respondents, Results may reflect users who already lacked serious nutrition discipline

Feature requests: Better tracking methodology for performance gains (controlled before/after), Clearer explanation or guidance on gut training process
