Description
I posted once before but wanted to share again because a lot has changed. There's now a fairly strong bot to play against (contributed by a community member) and also correspondence games. The combination of these things helps a bit in finding people to play against.

Could you build this?
Partial The web interface and Voronoi board generation are straightforward, but writing a strong Go bot adapted to irregular continuous Voronoi graphs requires specialized geometric game AI programming.
What it would actually take: The front end can use SvelteKit and HTML5 Canvas or SVG with Fortune's algorithm/d3-delaunay for Voronoi tessellation. The hard part is adapting Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS) or AlphaZero-style neural nets to non-Euclidean, irregular topological graphs where traditional Go heuristic libraries and symmetries do not apply. Building a competitive engine requires deep knowledge of graph-based board representations and game-tree optimization.
Discussion
20 comments analyzed.
Competitors mentioned: Magnetic Go, Traditional Go, Othello/Reversi
Concerns raised: Steep learning curve without Go knowledge, Hard to judge territory and connectivity in continuous space, Easy bot difficulty comparable to hard bot, Game heavily favors tight connected groups over strategic tradeoffs, High CPU utilization with neural net bot
Feature requests: Tutorial with good vs bad move examples, Highlight latest placed stone for tracking, Minimal living group definitions in tutorial, Make last stone indicator more visible, Windows desktop version to reduce CPU usage

Same idea, different domain
Nobody's really built a dev tools tool for Sales yet.
