Description
Hi HackerNews! My name is Kayleigh and I am the founder of NextBest, making it easy to see what people recommend online starting with skincare based on reddit. After working in big tech (Snap, Tiktok) the past five years, I founded NextBest because every time I want to buy something I search "best [x] reddit".While I am starting with skincare based on reddit, I do want to expand it to more sources and verticals.Would love any feedback you guys have!

Competitors mentioned: Modern Skin Science (esthetician product education platform)
Concerns raised: Search term changes (e.g., 'fungal acne' converts to 'acne') lose specificity, Claims lack source attribution or citations, Price information contrast/visibility too low, No regional/geographic filtering available
Feature requests: Display product price ranges, Filter results by date range (past 3/6 months), Add sourcing links or asterisks for health claims, Regional/geographic search or filtering
