Cue brings IDE-style autocomplete to your terminal. It suggests commands, options, Git branches, files, and folders as you type, with helpful descriptions right beside them. I built Cue because I loved Fig’s autocomplete and wanted that experience back after Kiro announced its retirement. Cue is free, open source, and built on Fig’s community-maintained autocomplete specs. It currently supports macOS with zsh in Apple Terminal and the VS Code integrated terminal.

Doing this well needs someone who knows shell internals, macOS accessibility/window APIs, and enough time to curate or generate specs.
