No A working CarPlay receiver needs Apple's MFi authentication hardware and proprietary protocol details, plus custom display, touch, and video decode hardware. Software alone on an ESP32-S3 cannot meet these requirements, and the work is hardware-bound.
What it would actually take: A real version requires reverse engineering the CarPlay wired protocol and its authentication handshake, which depends on Apple's MFi-certified chip. Implementing H.264 decoding on constrained hardware, driving RGB panels, and integrating touch controllers are embedded engineering tasks. This needs embedded systems, RF/USB protocol, and licensing expertise.
