Gonchat

Partial The chat UI, email sign-up, disappearing messages, and translation are vibe-codeable, but trustworthy end-to-end encryption and a messaging backend that scales across web and mobile need real cryptography and infrastructure expertise.

What it would actually take: Build on a vetted E2EE protocol (Signal's libsignal or an equivalent) rather than a custom one, with a mobile client, a web client, and a message relay with push notifications. The hard parts are getting the key management and forward secrecy right, keeping server metadata minimal, and running reliable delivery at scale. A security review and an experienced messaging/crypto engineer are needed, and on-device translation requires a suitable model that runs on phones.
