Could you build this?
Partial Focus timers, friend sharing, and activity feeds are standard app features that AI can build. The distraction alert needs to detect when the user switches apps, which iOS heavily restricts, so the core hook is platform-limited.
What it would actually take: On Android, a foreground-service or usage-stats implementation can detect app switches, and the real-time sharing can run on Firebase or a similar backend. On iOS, detecting other-app switches is largely blocked, so the feature would need Screen Time/Family Controls APIs with their entitlement approval or a narrower design. Mobile engineering knowledge of OS permissions and background execution is the expertise needed.
