Partial The node-graph editor UI is vibe-codeable, but a real material designer also needs a GPU rendering pipeline and procedural noise and shading engines. Writing these in pure Rust is harder to vibe-code than typical web work.
What it would actually take: The stack would be Rust with wgpu for real-time previews, a DAG evaluation engine for nodes, and WGSL shaders for procedural patterns and PBR outputs. The hard parts are GPU shader correctness and performance, and graphics programming experience is needed to get the material outputs right.
