Description

https://github.com/lpviz/lpvizVisualize linear programming solvers - Simplex, Interior Point, PDHG, and Central Path - in the browser. Drag the objective/vertices/constraints around and watch the solver trajectory respond in real time. Enter 3D mode to view solver metadata (like centrality for IPM or KKT residual for PDHG) on the z-axis. Always happy to get feedback and feature requests, one thing that is coming soon is support for importing problems from e.g. JuMP or cvxpy.

Could you build this?

Partial The 2D/3D browser UI is vibe-codeable, but implementing and numerically stabilizing complex optimization algorithms like primal-dual interior point methods and central path tracing in real time requires advanced mathematical optimization knowledge.

What it would actually take: The architecture pairs a WebGL/Three.js rendering layer with numerical linear algebra routines implemented in WebAssembly or JavaScript. The hard part is implementing stable Interior Point Methods (IPM), barrier functions, PDHG, and continuous central path trajectories that dynamically adapt to real-time polyhedron vertex drags without suffering numerical degeneration or ill-conditioned matrices.
